Transport Information

Travelling to and from Helsinki Airport is easy, whether you are using public or private transport. The most affordable option is taking the bus which will take you directly to the city centre. Just recently, Finavia announced that their bus station is now located in front of the Hotel Scandic and there have been changes in the bus routes as well. You can now access the bus station via Teletie and Lentäjäntie instead of Terminaalitie. A faster commute option is taking a train which connects you to the city centre as well as other locations in Finland. Taxis are also available at the terminals if you want a more convenient, but a costly one at that. If you've opted for a car rental, make sure you book your parking ahead of time to avoid hassles.
